This time around, Mats will be put light steel framing all around the shop, to prepare for drywall, and build a loft. Nine intense days of work....

Mats rented a flat bed truck and picked up 100 sheets of drywall and all the steel studs for the interior walls.

Then came a delivery truck with all the lumber and plywood.

This is how they unload in the Wild West, without a forklift.

Just sliding the whole load off, right in to the shop.

Almost there, watch your toes, Gairey!

BANG!!!

We are starting to lay out the framing for the inter walls.

The first section is up.

This is our future bedroom, until we build a house. Some of the joists are already up, for the ceiling/loft.

An overview: the whole divider wall is up, and some of the loft framing. All the drywall is stacked in the middle of the shop.

The job site in full swing...

Future living room...

Mats had to build a stair to be able to get up to the loft.

Finished! (will get handrail later)

The loft floor is getting framed.

Here we are framing in the floor joists for the loft.

The space starts to get defined.

Decking the loft with plywood.

The living space is about 800 sq feet, with nice views! Mats still has 1600 sqft left for the shop.

And 800 square feet of a storage loft!

A loft is always handy to have.....

The living space framed, ready for some wiring and drywall.

The hallway and walk through closet area.

Overview of the shop.

View from the loft.

The next step is to hang all the drywall. One step closer to moving in....

Mats also had time to install a water pump and pressure tank in the pump house. Nice to be able to take a shower with more pressure!

The pump required a thicker pipe. Notice the ocean in the back ground? On a clearer day you could see South Point.
