My appreciation of form is the primary influence in my designs: art, and furniture. Being hapa, (Hawaiian/Scott) I am drawn to the forms found in Hawaii's natural environment and its cultural arts as well as the classic forms introduced by the early European furniture makers.

I also have a great appreciation for, and I am inspired by the skills: knowledge, and tools they used to produce their arts.
